Community Preschool was founded in June 2015 through the acquisition of Tutor Time of Durham NC. Tutor Time of Durham had been caring for children in the community since 1996. With a great reputation in the local community as a result of the amazing care their dedicated and compassionate teachers provide every day; this was the perfect opportunity for the founder of Community Preschool to renter the preschool business.
The founder of Community Preschool is a former executive at Little Pros Academy, a private group of preschools that was based in Cary, NC. He led that organization from 2005 to 2010 growing Little Pros to seven locations and eventually selling the schools to Rainbow Early Education of Michigan. He went on to work with Rainbow Early Education from 2010 through 2012 as their Vice President of Marketing helping to grow their operations from 30 to 65 centers. His wife works for Duke University and additionally they own a local landscaping and maintenance company based in Durham.
